It’s built to be light, compact, and simple, with a familiar Off / Transmit / Search switch, a temperature-resistant LED screen, and clear audio cues that keep things intuitive when you’re under pressure. You still get Big Picture and Signal Suppression modes for managing multiple burials, along with auto-revert, close-proximity indication, and a multiple-burial indicator, so it covers everything most ski tourers and sledders will realistically need. With a 50–55 metre range, around 250 hours of transmit time on three AAA batteries, and a compact, low-profile housing, it’s a solid choice if you want a fast, dependable beacon without paying for features you may never use.
