The North Face Chakal Jacket delivers dependable warmth and waterproof protection crafted for cold-weather snowsports. Constructed with seam-sealed DRYVENT™ 2-layer shell made from 94% recycled polyester with non-PFC DWR finish, the jacket provides waterproof, windproof, and breathable performance for demanding days on the mountain. Body-mapped HEATSEEKER™ Advanced synthetic insulation features 80 g throughout the body and 60 g in the hood, collar, and sleeves, using dual-fiber construction for efficient warmth-to-weight ratio while maintaining packability. The 100% recycled polyester lining includes brushed tricot in the collar for added comfort. A removable, fully adjustable helmet-compatible hood, snap-down powder skirt with gripper elastic and jacket-to-pant integration, plus integrated stretch-knit wrist gaiters with thumbholes seal out snow and wind on deep days.
